I lost the post I was going to post. But all it really had on it was my christmas list, or I think that’s all that was in it.

WHAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS:
-iPod remote and earphones
-a metal Slinky toy
-nail polish
-Bruce Almighty DVD
-cool shoe laces
-colored Zip Disks (100MB)
-chocolate
-stripy socks
-Tony Hawk Proskater 4 for Mac

I wanted my dad to put OS X on my computer for a present. But I am pretty certain that my dad said it wouldn’t work since my computer is to old.

I AM SO MAD! I was just in the garage looking for a box for a project I am working on and I found one. Except inside it was a easily reconizable iMac cord. So I was happy, Liz is finally getting a computer that she can use instead of the mac with OS X. But then I saw the reciept. It is not only a Mac but it’s a iMac with a dvd player and a firewire port. A FIREWIRE PORT AND DVD PLAYER! It is most likely new enough to put OS X on it. So when she gets a iPod for her birthday, well, you know. And I betcha it is a nice computer that works most of the time. Now don’t get me wrong, I love my mac. But it freezes so much for no reason. I used to think it was because I was running too many programs but sometimes I won’t be running anything and it freezes. And don’t even get me started on the display… it never did work from the beginning. Well, I shouldn’t complain. I am saving for a computer. By the time I’m in college I’ll have enough. I already save $320. But I think it costs at least a thousand and I have been saving for a long time (it is the money I was going to use to buy an iPod). Sorry about all the complaining… I gotta go. My dad’s home from the fire call he just went to and he’s gonna wanna get on.

Katie and I got into this disscussion about fate. Is there such thing as fate? I am still trying to comprehend the concept, but after pondering it for some time, I believe there is. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So every time you make one move, something happens in return. Whether it is planned out some way by “God”, no idea. Considering the fact that I do not exactly believe in the G-man, I don’t really know. After writing this all out I am even less sure on my opinion on the subject. “Irony, as it seems, is not without a sense of destiny.” Destiny is fate, right. That is what is supposed to happen. But free will allows you to make your own decisons which result in many different possiblities. But you can’t go back and choose a different one, so is it fate that you picked that possiblity? “The Matrix” and “Andromeda” have attempted to explain. In “The Matrix”, Neo is confused on what the Oracle knows. She knows what will happen so does she have to act to complete it? What if she doesn’t? She has to, right?, since it’s fate. In “Andromeda” Trance has the Bonzi tree where she can see the future and each possible future there could be with each move they make. But she has the power to change the past, change these moves. We can’t. If that isn’t fate, since she can change it, how do you know that her changing the past isn’t all part of fate’s plan. EY CARAMBA! I never thought about this before and if I ever do it again I think my brain is going to explode.

PS- Soon a post will be posted from a few days ago. I couldn’t get myself logged on again after it logged off. I just saved it on the Mac downstairs so I’ll post it later. Look for it below this post!

Yesterday at lunch Katie and me went out to lunch. Afterwards we were throwing her bouncey ball off the window of the school and Melissa hit the window and it went in the creek. Katie like totally went crazy and fell to her knees crying. It was sooo funny. That night Lizzie had some problem printing her essay for school so she tried it on my computer. But then somehow she screwed it up and I ended up trying to fix it for an hour and a half. Then after I did that I had to proof-read the whole thing. And Liz can not figure out how to do quotes. It’s “This is my sentance.”, said Alanna. Not “this is my sentance,” said Alanna. And after she corrected it she had me go over it again and she had only fixed like, 10 out of the 43 mistakes so I ended up fixed them for her. But my mom says she’s going to give me some money so I guess it all paid off. I missed ER because of this whole incident but I taped it and just watched it. I am very mad about the ending, it never says if Romano is dead or not. Guess I’ll have to wait until next week.

This morning at school, Chelsea, Michaela, and I were outside by the creek and we saw a baby beaver. It was so small and cute! Today I took two tests I didn’t study for because of last night but they weren’t that bad. Tonite Joan of Arcadia, Jag, The Handler, and 3rd Watch are on. YAY! I just ate some spicy nachos, but they were so good. As you can tell, I really have nothing to tell ya so I’ll just STOP.

Today wasn’t the best day ever. Problemo 1: The new unit for phys ed is gymnastics and today was the “prancing pony class”. We had to do these routines across the mats. We skipped, hopped, galloped, you think it, we did it. And then we had to get in groups and think of our own routine. Well, the people in my group usually get along but this one girl a sit with a lot was really bitchy today. She kept yelling at us that our ideas sucked and then yelled at us again when we had no ideas when we had to perform. I hope it’s just PMS or I’m gonna get really annoyed pretty soon. Problemo 2: Nobody had lunch with me today. Katie was home sick and Chelsea was of course, over with her mom. Not that I don’t think that’s cool, but now I have no one to sit with so I don’t eat lunch since I have problems with sitting alone in a large room. So I made cookies when I got home. More on this later. Problemo 3: My sister AGAIN was on-line until 8 tonite. So I wasn’t able to do my homework till after my show started. I WANT DSL MORE THAN I WANTED MY IPOD!

On the cookies: Yesterday I was making cookies and I had them all mixed except for one ingredient, vanilla extract. Then I remebered, I used it up the last time I made cookies. So I substited anise extract since anise is a cookie, it’ll taste the same, right? NO! They tasted so freakin’ bad that only Liz would eat them and I couldn’t even smell them without being queasy (they aren’t gross to people who like normal food). But today my mom bought some vanilla so I made some yummy ones and I am eating one right now.

Liz just stole Big Bunny from me. She’s not supposed to be up now but she came down to take some medicine crap. I went to the movies today in school and saw “Radio”. It was really cute and Katie and Chelsea cried- really loud. I ate a ton of popcorn and I got a stomach ache so I didn’t eat lunch till I got home. I then ate some chinese soup and added some T-sauce to it. It was pretty bad, but my eyes actually didn’t water (not like the pizza I had a few weeks ago!). I accidently left part of my homework at school but the good part of going to school early is you get a whole hour to work on homework. And I already am half finished so I got nothing to worry about. Every morning all you see is people finishing (or even starting) their homework, most of the time they copy of their friends. As you guys know, I will never do that again and it makes me sick seeing people do it. What I don’t understand is why I never got punished for it. They called me down to the office and explained what I did, but they didn’t give me detention. I’ve always thought that was weird, what I did was wrong. But after pondering it, just thinking about what I did makes me feel bad. That combined with the speech my dad gave me. It wasn’t really a speech, he just said he was disapointed in me. That made me feel so awful and if it ever happens again, I just don’t know what I’ll do. But I’m a good kid- don’t lie, steal, do drugs, cheat, gamble, have sex, murder people, etc. Oh ya, I can hold my breath for 1 minute and 5 seconds. Pretty awesome, eh?

“So you’re Canadian, eh? Where’s your pet beaver, eh?”
“Ya, I’m Canadian. And no, I don’t have a pet beaver. But if I did that would be pretty awesome, eh?”

After reading that last post, I have noticed that I come off as a spoiled brat that has to have everything. But I can’t, my family doesn’t exactly have money to spend on things like that. Or maybe we do, but my parents don’t feel like spending it. I dunno.

I HATE LIZ! All she does is come in my room and go through my stuff… when I’m right in the room. And then she asks to have stuff she finds. And when I yell at her to stop she promises to clean. Then she doesn’t. And when I tell her to leave she makes excuses. Sorry, I had to get that all out. I’m working on my christmas list and these are the things I’m not even going to bother to put on:
-DSL
-OS X on my computer
-learn to play the guitar
-networked computers
These things would make my life so much easier (well, except for the guitar lessons, but they would make me happier). But unfortunatly, they are dreams I have had for a long time that I never expect to happen. I think I’m gonna cry, gotta go.

Today I finally saw the rest of The Matirix Revolutions and it rocked! But I still think the first one was the best. The second one was very slow paced and could have been easily fit into the third one. And in case anyone was wondering, I still watch The Matrix at least once a week. My name is Alanna and I am obsessed with The Matrix. At least I don’t drink.

My mom just had a baby in the hospital. It’s abnormaly large, speaks Japanese, and is green. We took it to the mall and in the food court we went to Denny’s. The baby ordered dennyfood and sat in a large highchair. When the food came, Liz tried the dennyfood and liked it so she traded her pancakes for it. After, me, Liz, Katie, and Chelsea were sitting on the escalator. Everytime it got to the bottom, it went back up. We were chatting and a security guard came over and yelled at me to get off. When I reached the bottom I break-danced off untill I hit a potted plant. Katie break-danced too but didn’t hit a plant. Liz fell off and Chelsea laughed at us and just walked off. We went home and put the baby in it’s large crib. We had a very large house with a hundred rooms but the baby slept in the tiny hallways. Later we went to Blockbuster but it was sold out of movies. Instead, the baby bought a “adult magazine”. Later it revealed to us that it was an alien. This made sense. Muhahahaha!
