S-B

Katie’s on my softball team now. I didn’t go to practice but Liz says she’s really good, way better than me, well, everyone is way better than me, but she’s got a good arm on her. I haven’t seen her catch but she’s probably pretty good. I’m going to look like such a loser because I’m not going to make any catches or hits. Oh well. Other than that, today was pretty asi-asi. Highlights: I found some bubblewrap, I had a frappacino for lunch, I didn’t have spanish, Jamo didn’t lick my muffin after he stole it, and of course, I did my nails. Somebody slap me please (just not hard, I’ve been shoved to the ground twice already today).

My design site

I am getting very close to putting ALL my templates on my new design site, but I have it at a different URL because the Diaryland one-entry feature is very appealing right now. Go to the new site here

Spam!

Spammers have learned how to send me mail that gets itself marked as important and it puts it in bold italics and makes it bright colors. Now I’m glad I got gmail. I haven’t got any spam (yet…)

Results

From Heather:

1. What’s the song that has struck the most emotions in you (I guess the most emotional song for you)?
Last Kiss by Pearl Jam made me cry the first time I heard it, it’s so sad!

2. What would your ideal bedroom look like?
It would definetly have to have a king size waterbed and a couch. Skylights would be nice and my own mac lab. A walk-in closet would be handy and a TV and a nice sound system. I’m a material girl.

3. If you could have any type of pet (and have the $$ to keep up with it/feed it/house it) what would it be?
Oooo, I want one of those little chiuhahas that fit in my purse. It wouldn’t bark or bite and it wouldn’t look like a rat like some of them do. I would name it Harper or Zenith.

From Strausser:

1. What is/are your fav cookies/biscuits?
I’m more of a plain chocolate chip cookie person but sugar cookies aren’t that bad.

2. What is /are your fav candies?
M&Ms, gummie bears, and Sour Skittles

3. What is the color of your bed sheet?
It’s stripped with blue, green, and purple stripes. It matches my blanket and my pillows.

From Sarah:

1. What color are your bedroom walls painted?
They were supposed to be red but they are really bright pink. It hurts my eyes.

2. Do you drink orange juice or milk with breakfast?
I usually drink a glass of water. I don’t drink orange juice and I hate milk (but I eat it on my cereal).

3. What color are you going to dye your hair next?
Pink!!!

From Mandy:

1. What’s “electric tang” mean?
I really don’t know. I just thought of it when I made my blog. I’m thinking of changing it though. Any ideas? I don’t want something so random, I want something more, um, modern.

2. What are you opinions on the government and Bush?
I really don’t know. I don’t listen to the news or anything. I personally don’t like violence so I don’t exactly support the war in Iraq but whatever. I don’t know anything about Bush so I guess I don’t hate him, but I don’t like him either.

3. Kitties or puppies, neither, or both?
I don’t really like cats because they like climb on you and everything and scratch you. I don’t like big dogs that jump all over me or lick me a ton or bite me. Small, harmless dogs and declawed cats are okay with me. I’m more of a rabbit person.

Yah yah yah.

Liz’s party was today. We went bowling. Not much happened, uh, I got 112 the last game I played, my best score. Then my dad and I went to Steve’s house and me and Steve watched some show. Now I’m home, blah blah blah. I’m just not in a good mood right now. Oi.

Lanni: That’s okay. Where did you go?
Dad: Chile Avenue on the canal path.
Lanni: Is it far away?

It’s been weird

Well, at least a little. I went to the dentist today and of course I waited an hour doing nothing. So afterwards we tried to go home. Yes, tried. Halfway there we stop at a red light. It changes green soon after and we go to cross the intersection. But my mom’s car won’t move. We manage to get it roll to the meridian so we were exactly in the middle of the 6 lane road. This didn’t go well with some drivers. We were out of gas and there were no gas stations nearby. We couldn’t get out because we had traffic on both sides of us. In a few minutes some guy in a big truck stopped next to us and offered us his cellphone. My mom called my dad and he came from Webster. Then the police arrived. Turns out one of those mad drivers called the cops. But she was nice enough to hold off traffic long enough for us to push the car to a turn off. This was my first time ever pushing a car. It’s easier than I thought. I’ve tried it before, but the car was off. Without the brake on it’s much easier. Then my dad filled ‘er up with a gallon of gas, enough to get us to the gas station. So that’s why it’s been weird, I spent an hour in a car being beeped and stared at by people I don’t know.

gmail

Something cool just happened. I’m in school and I have a free period right now so I logged into Blogger to work on my template a little. Right above that part of the page that lists my blogs it said

As an active Blogger user, we would like to invite you to be one of the first to try out Google’s new email service, Gmail.

Would you like to give it a whirl? YES / NO

So of course I hit YES because I read about it on my dad’s blog. So now I have a new email address. I wanted to get amasz but it’s too short so my new address is imaclanni@gmail.com. It looks pretty nice. I have a problem with deleting messages that I will need later so maybe this archiving thing will help. It says I don’t delete messages, I archive them so I can use the search option to look for them again. Pretty awesome, eh?
