I really need to clean my room.

Dinah’s was fun. After what I wrote yesterday, we got the pizza and ate it (duh). Dinah and I were tired and went to bed without telling Katie who was upstairs. I had already asked her if she wanted to sleep upstairs because Dinah said that Katie liked sleeping up there. But Katie got sort of upset and wanted to go home because we were ignoring her. I’m not going to say we weren’t, but she was ignoring us too. It all kinda goes in a circle and we talked it all out (using aim of course) and we ended up playing Girl Talk until 4. I love that game. It’s like a truth or dare type thing but for 8 year olds. And there was this stupid thing with giving out cards that describe people (like I got smartest, best hair, etc.). One of the cards said “Has all the answers”. Katie gave it to Jesus. Very funny. So we went to bed around 4ish and I got up at noon when Dinah jumped on me and yelled “Wake up Lanni!”. We ate waffles and Leah (Dinah’s friend) came over so we played Girl Talk again. Then my mom came from lifeguarding at the JCC and drove Katie home. Then my mom and I went to Tops to get some cash. After obtaining cash, we went to Wendy’s and ate lunch. Then we drove over to Old Navy and I looked for some pants (one of my 3 pairs now has a hole in the back and the front, damn!) but since it’s after Christmas they don’t have anything. I only wear one kind of pants, the flare leg ones that are light blue. They are always on the shelf in the back. Always. Except for today. Oy! So we went home. And met Curls and Liz. They were on their way to Sally’s, so we went with them. We got some hair stuff and went to Target. I got some Christmas ornaments that were 50% off. I plan on making jewelry out of them, duh. After that we went home and my mom did Curls’ hair brown while I watched Bridget Jones’s Diary. Then Liz’s friends arrived, ugh. And they’re still here. One is playing guitar, others are gathered around Liz’s computer. And a few of them are just chatting on Liz’s bed. How do I know as I am in my own bedroom? They are being so freaking loud!

Contemplating on whether I should by a scanner for $80 (!) or not. My family despretly needs one. I admit I’d use it too, but I think I’d rather keep taking photos of things. It’s cheaper for me. If I’m going to buy two new iMacs, I’m going to need all the money I can get. I only have enough for one right now. I despise money: Dinero me molesta.

I’m at Dinah’s, yo.

I’m at Dinah’s house. Good times. Let me start from the beginning.

I arrived at Dinah’s house via my dad’s car. I rang the doorbell many times until I gave up and just walked in. I met Dinah’s mom’s boyfriend Doug, or as Katie likes to say, Douggles. Dinah and I played Yahtzee and watched Sweet Home Alabama. I gave Dinah her purse- she loves it. Yay! Katie came over too. We played Mao. I lost horribly. I hit Dinah with a cashew can and Dinah and Katie threw candy at me. Ha ha ha, I am so loser-ish. Well, we gave up with Mao and did some other stuff. Dinah and I played a hand of spit, I lost. Bah. Katie’s mom came over to drop off some stuff and she brought her new boyfriend Steve. He said something to us and Dinah yelled, “You have an accent!?” It was very funny. Katie’s mom was feeling pretty generous and gave us $25 for a pizza. It was 11:50pm. We called the pizza place and they said it would be an hour because the pizza guy was “chillaxing in Chile”. Dinah and I have decided that we hate the words chillaxing and perhaps. Ew. Worst words ever. And we can’t stop saying “whateva” and doing this ridiculous hand gesture. Shmeh, got to go back to playing spit with Dinah before “she pees on me”.

Take my quiz. I made it here at Dinah’s. Katie and Dinah helped. And it shows.

The vacation documentation is almost done. I can’t get the freaking camera to work though. Oy.

Dinah better like this

photophotophoto
This took me almost 3 hours. It’s very nice and if Dinah doesn’t like it I will gladly keep it for myself. It’s very pink.

To do before school starts up again:

  • custom templates- lacee (winter theme), anna (CSI), davis (Gizmo the rat), shavantey (?)
  • wallets- chelsea (pink and blue), dinah (all pink), abby (pink and white), kayla (pink and purple), michaela (pink and purple)
  • dinah’s duct tape and spoon purse
  • homework
  • document trip using photos and journal entries
  • clean room

Merry Christmas Part 2

merry christmas!

I love the pirate shirt because I love pirates. The iPod speakers are so freaking awesome, they are small and portable and the sound quality is so freaking excellent! I can connect my discman to it to use the speakers too so I have just totally eliminated my huge clunky old stereo! I got a total of $145 cash and $90 in gift cards. I can’t believe I got a pair of Ugg boots. I totally laughed my head off when I opened them. Those things are darn expensive (we’re talking $150 here) and my aunt bought me a pair. I have to admit they are warm though. But when will I wear them?

Christmas has been awesome. I was kinda depressed this morning when I saw that half the gifts under the tree were for my mom, but I changed my mind when I saw the $100 gift card, score! I got everything I wanted on my list (except the iPod earphones) and more :)

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Merry Christmas Eve!

I just paced around my room for 45 minutes. It felt like I was in a trance, I couldn’t stop. But it felt great, until I stopped. Then my sore throat and headache came back. Meh. I can’t even remember why I was doing it. Oh, wait, I was waiting for my fingernails to dry. I had painted them red and green. Weird. But it felt so nice just walking around listening to music. Like I didn’t have anything to do. I can’t explain it, but I liked it.

I’m all decked out for Christmas, red hair, green shirt, red and green nails, green earrings, mock holiday socks. More on the socks: I had a pair of green, red, and white striped toe socks. I hate toe socks. So I cut the toes off, planning on stitching the hole in the end closed. But the sewing machine hates me and won’t sew. So I’m wearing a red and a green sock underneath. It’s sort of odd, but isn’t everying I do odd?

Christmas Eve is tomorrow!

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! I just wrote a really long post and accidentally clicked a link and lost it! Damn x infinity. Shmeh, here’s how it went-ish.

Today was the last day of school for the year, score! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I decided that this year I wouldn’t spend any money on gifts. Which I’m afraid might piss some people off (*ahem* liz!). But whatever. I had some problems with my parent’s gift so I ended up writing them this letter. Mother and Father, don’t click that por favor.

Today Katie and Chelsea were helping Mrs. O’Brien and carried a life-size cut out of Brett Farve, quarter back of the Packers, to her car. Mr. Hall came outside and asked them what they were doing. It went a little like this (dialogue provided by Katie:

Mr. Hall: Ladies, what’s that?
Katie: A life sized cut out of Brett Farve.
Mr. Hall: What are you doing with it?
Chelsea: Putting it in the car.
Mr. Hall: Did you steal that from the cafeteria?
Chelsea: No, Mrs.O’Brien did.
Mr. Hall: Oh, carry on.

I should get back to making my gifts. I apologize to everyone that has or is going to receive a crap gift this year.

Wowzer

photoSOH CAH TOA. What every student should have written on their desks. Seriously. Just don’t tell my mom.

We played crab soccer in PE today, major laughs. I got kicked in the shin by ANOTHER FRESHMAN. They are seriously out to get me. I swear. Not not only do I have a bruise on my arm, I have a gash on my leg. And it’s very pink. Ugh.

Tomorrow is the last day of school before break! I finished my gifts about 10 minutes ago. I made buttons that say Merry Chistmas on them. I filled penguin bags with the buttons, 2 candy canes, a bracelet I made, a quarter, and a voucher for a duct tape wallet. Genius. And it only took me 20 minutes tops. Muhahahaha! I’m the cheapest friend in the world!

photoAfter noticing how many rolls of duct tape I have, I decided to make one of those paint chip sample booklets, except with duct tape. Pretty awesome, eh?

I took my dreaded bio test today. I really need a good grade to get my B+ up to an A. I planned on studying, but like always, I did not. But I got my grade at the end of school (scantrons, gotta love ‘em!) and I got a 92%, score!

I finally finished The DaVinci Code. It took me 4 days to read! I’m getting slow. But the book was so great, it’s definetly one of my favorites now. I love all the symbols and codes. And I can’t stop writing the Fibonacci Sequence now, 0-1-1-2-3-5-8-13-21. I’m addicted.

Cripes, it’s 11:30pm. I should probably go to bed. Yep.
