I’m back! I actually got back yesterday, but I’ve been busy reading Harry Potter! I was so mad that I couldn’t go home on Saturday to pick up my book, I had to wait until yesterday to get it! I’ve been reading for 6 hours total, but I still have 5 chapters to go. A counselor that I work with, Angel, had a copy and I totally envied her all week. I’m leaving tomorrow morning for another 2 weeks, goody(?) As for camp, it was fine. In a brief cap of the last two weeks: I’ve been promoted to a “counselor-like position”, I stayed in a tent by myself in Sunnyside, Harmony quit, I made a new buddy board (I rearranged and painted it so it’s easier for the kids to understand), I got a third hole in each ear, I finished Angels & Demons, I saw Ranger Mike pick up a rock to kill a rabid woodchuck, we got a new 5 person paddle boat, and some other stuff. That wasn’t very brief, but you know.

I am tired and I am going back to camp tomorrow morning (I got home Friday). So I’ll just leave you some important points:

• I did a one-person tippy test to demonstrate for some campers when no one to help was available.
• Genny and Veggie (kitchen staff) plus Liz and I had a night off on Wednesday, which is “Cooks Night Off”. We raided the kitchen and took some leftover pizza, garlic bread, and brownies to Red Pine where we watched Win a Date With Tad Hamilton.
• I cleaned the Camp Office and organized all of the files into neat folders in a hanging file case (and I labeled them all).
• I accidentally smashed my clock into smithereens and now I can only change the alarm by sticking two pens into small holes and pressing them down simultaneously. Plus it’s in three large pieces, held together by thin wires.
• I hid in the counselor hunt, even though I’m not even technically staff. I was plus two points, Liz was minus two points. Ha!
• I had a very fun time overall, even though it rained most of the days.

I really ought to go to sleep now. I’ve been busy all day buying stuff I needed (waterproof shoes, new headphones, shorts, a clock). So see you in two weeks I guess. And by the way, 7 days until Book 6 is released!

Since it’s 12:21am, it’s technically tomorrow. To me, it’s still the 4th of July. So pretend that it is to you too. Tomorrow I’m going back to camp until Friday. Hopefully I’ll come back without any additional injuries.

Hmm, what to say about camp. Well, you already know that I sprained my ankle. Other news? Not much. I demonstrated a tippy test, which is always a blast. I also took it with a counselor that was scared to do it, SWAT, who is a riot. (This was before the ankle accident.) On Thursday we went bowling. I bowled a 103, 96, 89, and 78, in that order. I always get worse the more I play. And on the day we came back to Rochester to go to the doctor, I bought a hundred bucks worth of books. My choices? Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers, Girls In Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood, The Year Of Secret Assignments, and Thirsty. and Liz got The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which I have been meaning to read. Plus HPatHBP comes out July 16th!!!!

BACK FROM CAMP! I TELL YOU ABOUT IT LATER! WENT TO REEL BIG FISH! IT ROCKED AND MY LIFE IS NOW COMPLETE! AND I BOUGHT THEIR NEW CD! AND A T-SHIRT! I STOOD FOR 6 HOURS AND MY ANKLE IS HUGE! MY KNEE TOO! I LIKE CAPS RIGHT NOW! I CAN’T HEAR ANYTHING! CAPS ARE EASIER TO HEAR! GOODBYE!

I’m back from camp for a few hours. Why? To go to the doctor for my sprained ankle. That’s right guys, I sprained my knee last Wednesday playing softball, and this Wednesday I sprained my ankle walking to Shangri-La. There is totally something wrong with me, I swear.

I’m coming home for the weekend tomorrow.
