huzzah! the lecture part of driver’s ed is fin! we took the final exam today and we’ll get our papers in the mail during spring break. but hopefully, since i already took my 5-hour, i’ll be taking the exam before that with chels the first or second week of april. i’d go for it sooner, but we haven’t done parallel parking more than once, and i’m pretty sure i didn’t suddenly learn how to do it without actually practicing, so you know.

i finally met uncle david at flex today. but i don’t have an uncle david, so it was a bit akward. turns out he thought i was his niece because the last time he saw her, last year, she had pink hair. he said he almost yelled at me because he noticed when i started going a month or two ago, and i hadn’t said anything. but alas, he was incorrect. i have no uncle david. i go to my mother, “hey mom, i saw uncle david at flex,” and she goes, “wow, really?” oh mother, you get so confuzzled. you see, she has many a brother and sister. and i myself have many an uncle and aunt. so i understand.

i despise school. i absolutely despise school. only three classes, but even that was three too many. although i did get a lot of research done during my many frees. and after school chels and i had driver’s ed and we got to go on the expressway for the first time. i got to go with the flow of traffic, which was 75 mph, faster than i’ve ever gone before. amazing.

and our ham jam video seems to still be on, as i discovered that chelsea owns a video camera. hooray! hopefully we’ll be able to work on it this weekend, as ham jam is in like two weeks or something.

well, i’ve definitely made headway on my junior thesis. i’ve finished most of the note-taking, which is very good.

but alas! i have to go back to school tomorrow! i’m so not very happy about this. luckily, it’s a day 3 and i only have american, chem, and math.

well, so long mid-winter recess.

my notebook was just full of suprises today. first i start sorting through my math papers and i see that one of my friends has written “ha ha, you said quad!” above a test question discussing quadrilateral QUAD. and then about 40 sheets of looseleaf fell out from the middle where apparently the kid that sits next to me had shoved some paper in. he takes two or sheets out of my notebook every day and i complain about it just as often, and he said he’d pay me back some day. and he actually did.

man oh man. i wrote a really long post last night and posted it, and it disappeared. i have no idea what the heck happened to it, so until i find it you’ll have to deal with this jumble of information, as i can’t exactly remember what i did yesterday for some reason.

kate and dinah and i went to zebb’s last night and we all got milkshakes and stuff. it was a fairly normal outing, but it was one of the first for me this whole week, so it was nice. later we went to topps and put produce stickers on my arm. then we went to mi casa and played settlers of catan and did some sudoku, which i am now unfortunately addicted to. dinah went home around 11 and kate slept over. we watched monty python and the holy grail for the umpteenth time and fell asleep. kate left this morning and my dad and i watched the pbs special on monty python, which i taped wednesday. later my mom and i went grocery shopping and i got some popsicles. mmm. and that was pretty much all i did. my last friday of freedom and i did pretty much nothing. oh well.

liz just woke me up by placing a plate of pancakes very near to my head. but mmmm, they were tasty. i think this was the first time i have had breakfast in bed.

i’ve been checking out the usual price paid for a used ipod nano on ebay, and i think that if i put the lanyard headphones with the ipod, i can set my minimum bid at $250 and just wait a few weeks or so for someone to come around and bid that much. now that would be sweet. i just have to ask the ‘rents.

i slept over at kate’s last night. it was fun, as usual. the best part was that my mom let me purchase a 2 L bottle of dr pepper and some hot buffalo wing pretzels. mmmm. i had pretzels for breakfast. mmmm.

kate, dinah, and i are supposed to be doing something tomorrow, i think we decided on a sleepover at dinah’s or something, i can’t actually remember. but you know.

i have been schlepping on over to flex for 2 months now, and i think all the exercising has finally caught up to me, because my sides/abs/lower back/shins/knee/spleen hurt all the time now. grr. i need some ibeprophen or something right now.

i don’t know when exactly i became a clean freak. just 3 months ago i was well known for having the most messy room in our house. but something changed, when exactly i have no idea. but ever since my room has stayed spotless since. and now i spend my weekends “organizing” or “tidying,” as opposed to “cleaning” and et cetera. i even do my laundry every week, which is a task i used to partake in once or twice a month. things have changed.

whoa! two templates in a week? are you for real? heck yes!

ta da! a new template. it’s obviously teal and orange. i love teal and orange. they are just fan-freaking-tastic together. the flowers are cute too. i tried not to use too much black, to make the template lighter. my friends over at the primp my blog forum helped me a lot with the one, i was having some trubs making the headers fancy enough. i ended up just rounding them, but i think the effect is nice, eh?

dude, i need something to do over break. somewhere to go. something to see. i really should work on my thesis, but i really just don’t want to. ugh.

mmm, you know what band i’m addicted to right now? atom and his package. they’re kind of punk rock, and i have to say, annoying as heck, but in a good way. you should check ‘em out.

liz and i rented a bazillion movies today and watched two: matchstick men, which was so incredibly good that i almost died, seriously; and in her shoes, which was cute. i have flightplan here on my desk, and me thinks i’ll watch it now, as liz refuses to see it.
