it’s okay to be average. this is for my mom. and i looked in an almanac—the average height for women in the united states is 5' 4". so yes mother, you are average height. but keep in mind that you are actually 5' 3.75".
last night curls and i went to see strangers with candy at the little, and it was extremely funny. i have never seen the show, as it’s on cable, but i still enjoyed it. i wouldn’t buy it, because i doubt my mother would let me (she wouldn’t let me buy anchorman, which made me very sad), but i would rent it, definitely. so yeah, it was a hilarious movie, the entire theater spent most of the time laughing. especially before the movie when we saw the preview for little miss sunshine. i can’t wait to see that.
after the movie we went to spot coffee and got smoothies, and watched the episode of "kyle xy" that i had taped at 9. that show is curls’ and my newest guilty pleasure. the show is kind of lame, but oddly addicting. it might have something to do with this guy though. *sigh* and i’m pretty sure that i’ll never be able to see a grapefruit now and not crack up.
and my family went away this weekend, and didn’t leave me any dr pepper. the horror. so today i rode my bike to tops and picked up a 12 pack. which proved to be a bit difficult to get home. i forgot to bring extra bungees, and a pack of 3 would have cost me five bucks, so i bought some duct tape and taped it to the back. i attached the seat pack to my water bottle holder, and duct taped the roll of duct tape next to it. it worked out quite nicely. this is why duct tape is my hero. and shows what i’ll do to score some tasty dr pepper.
awhile back i could have sworn i posted about the time i had to buy a gallon of milk and get it home, but i can’t seem to find it. oh well. i did pretty much the same thing, except with packing tape because it was 50% off. hah.
