you know what i just realized? “the office” takes place in real time, so the season finale that aired in may took place in may. and if pam and roy’s wedding was supposed to be june 10th, that means that when the show starts again in september, the wedding would already have happened, if it’s going to happen. hmm.

although the writers are bloody brilliant, so they’ll pro’ly figured out some amazing way to address this. i’m sure of it.

my birthday party begins tomorrow! the plan is for everyone to assemble at my house, hang out for awhile, and then go the the camp site. we should be back on wednesday, but that isn’t always possible. read about last year here. luckily, the weather forcast says it should be clear (actually, i have conflicting forcasts).

got up. interneted. ate breakfast. watched batman forever. greeting liz and my mother as they arrived home. interneted. ate a sub. went to the laundromat. got my hair cut. bought some cd’s. took my senior photo (i’ll share when i get a copy) and the d & c photo thanks to dad. interneted. went to dinner. watched airplane!. interneted.

blast, turns out i didn’t sell my nano, it was all a scam. i recieved an email after the auction ended stating that the buyer needed the item shipped to nigeria straight away because the ipod was to be a gift for his fiancee living there. he said he made a payment of $230, the extra 80 being for the shipping and that i should recieve an email from paypal confirming it. at this point, i’m going, “WTF?” nigeria? i said on the item listing that i would only ship to locations in the united states. in fact, i said it many times. so all i can think is something fishy is going on. then i get an email from “paypal” telling me that $230 in funds have been added to my account. i log into paypal and of course find my balance the same as before. i take another look at the email and find that it was sent from paypal.csc@auctionfan.net, which is obviously not a paypal email address. so i post in the ebay answer center and get replies giving my information on scams and what to do. so i reported the user, and in 7 days i’ll file an unpaid item dispute. and then i’ll list it on craig’s list.

summer is getting boring. i’ve spent the past few days completing a list of chores my mom made up for liz and i. in fact, i just finished this evening.

in other news, my mom and i did an interview on teen drinking in brighton for the d & c. becky asked us if we could do it, and we obliged. unfortunately, i don’t have much experience with drinking, since i don’t drink. but i know people that do (don’t we all) so i guess i was of some help. my mom managed to say a ton, so i think they’ll find something manageable to use. which reminds me, i have to get my dad to take a photo of my mom and i and liz for the paper. and i need to take my senior photos soon.

i sold my nano for $150 on ebay today. so that’s good.

i’m not sure what i think about this schedule. i have a ton of frees on days 1, 2, and 3. but i have none on 2, 4, and 6. this is exactly what happened last year and i hated it. so i’m kind of on the edge. but maybe i’ll warm up to it. day 1 is pretty friggin’ sweet.

my new ipod came today! it’s really awesome. it looks brand new and acts brand new. i forgot to order the invisible shield for it, so i can’t take it out of the package until it comes in the mail in a few days. i’m really excited though.

iron levels were still to low to donate today. i think i’ll start taking double iron. maybe that will help. i should take vitamin c too, or so i’m told. it helps absorb or something like that.

i really really want to get my schedule soon. i wrote last year that i got mine on august 23 (see, blogs come in handy sometimes). so i’ll probably get it soon. i hope i have a lunch period this year, last year sucked.

my nano is currently listed on ebay. i set a reserve of $150 and if i don’t get it i’m going to list it on craig’s list. i know i can get at least that, because ebay says the average selling price of a used 4 gig nano is $175. and i’m selling the acessories with it too. and did i tell you i ordered a refurbished ipod? yep, 30 gb, white. it’s arriving on thursday. i’m excited. i need to get a case though, before i even open it. i’m not letting this baby get scratched.

i’m back. i don’t have much to say except this:
rain sucks. and closing a summer camp is too much work for a person that isn’t even getting paid like everyone else.
