oh em gee. tonight’s office episode was basically amazing. andy played the banjo and sang ‘the rainbow connection’ in a “sexy falsetto,” and michael got sad when he found out his office is worse than prison (because dunder mifflin does not have outdoor rec time). i think that’s a pretty convincing argument, watch the show!

in other news, work was fun today. and everyone who’s anyone was there. teresa substituted for holly today because holly had a meeting. and utsav filled in for carly for a half an hour because carly, who was substituting today, had to come in late. so after utsav left carly was there for a half an hour until holly came back and took over for teresea, and teresa became second-in-command once again. i played kickball. got it?

i hast brought democracy to the world i call the brighton rec after school program. we play too much dodgeball and jump the brook, so i decided to make a list of all the gym games that i could think of (the kids helped). then i pick the kid that helped clean up without being asked (or more than one, sometimes). that kid gets to choose three games from my list, and the rest of the kids get to vote for which they want to play. it’s working well, and the kids actually seem to like it. it’s nice. i’m a genius. lol.

THURSDAY:
right after thanksgiving dinner (lunch, actually), my family and i piled into the buldgemobile and began the 7 hour drive to long island.

liz and i spent most of the time watching miscellaneous movies and “office” episodes on our ipods, as pictured above. so that entertained us for awhile.

well, i had time to upload and caption my photos, but the post about the trip will have to be postponed until tomorrow. for now, a link to the photo album.

home. i’ll post about my trip tomorrow (maybe). i have so much to do (read comments, return emails, do homework, code websites, et cetera), so i’m going to have to be very careful not to waste time tomorrow. but i’m pretty sure that’ll be pretty darn difficult.
 

and i uploaded just one picture, so i won’t feel bad for posting about nothing.

the hotel has a computer, how cool is that? but i only get a half an hour on it, and it’s already been like twenty minutes, so i just wanted to stop by and say hello. hello!

wikipedia has nicely helped remind me of many shows i watched as a kid on saturday mornings, but not the one i was looking for. i can vaugely remember a show where this boy had a secret hideout in his house where he had a bunch of monitors showing cameras that he had hidden all around his house. and that’s pretty much all i can remember.

but it was nice recalling shows like: wishbone, pepper ann, legends of the hidden temple, the weekenders, the puzzle place, kidsongs, bobby’s world, life with louie, digimon, the journey of allen strange, ghostwriter, teen angel, so weird, et cetera.

so i think i finally know what’s going on for thanksgiving. we’re having thanksgiving dinner before 1pm on thursday, because we’re getting on the road to long island/nyc a little after 1. we’re planning on getting there at like 8pm. friday with the g-rents, saturday with martz in queens, sunday we’re coming on home. so that’ll be fun.

the kids at work have invented a new game. we played yesterday, and i thought they would have forgotten about it by today, but, alas, they did not. i think it’s called, “lets all throw balls at lanni as she runs around the gym with a giant beach ball!” or something along those lines. i have to admit, it’s quite a fun game. i toss the beach ball at them sometimes to make it seem like i’m struggling really hard and they’re beating me. but we all know that is not true.

i get to take the car to school tomorrow, w00t!

so. monday. what’s with you? why can’t you ever be nice to me? i thought we were friends! i guess not. well, that’s okay, i don’t even want to be friends with you, you always ditch me and you suck at keeping secrets. consider our friendship to be OVER.

and now for something completely different.

i got to miss yet another econ test today. i had an ortho appointment that i couldn’t cancel (which reminds me, i’m getting my 4 wisdom teeth removed, goody). but this also means i have to take it at 6:55am tomorrow, so that really isn’t much better.

dear everyone that has sent me an email recently,
i am sorry that i haven’t written back. i always have time to check my email, but when it comes to actually answering them i never seem to have the time. the stress of college apps/essays last week were the main reason for that, but the increasing amount of homework isn’t helping either. so yeah, i apologize, i plan on reading and responding to them all by tuesday (hopefully).

this is also the reason i haven’t responded to your comments as quickly as i usually do. anyway, thank you for listening.
