the thing is, i want to use the soviet colors (red and yellow) as the color scheme. that’s the problem though. i’d throw out the color scheme all together, but then nothing is linked together, you know?
looks nice!, I got the yellow part, maybe the hammer/sickle could be a bit brighter to balance it?-dunno my color on my monitor might be a slight off. As for the black, it may be overpowering-what about a dark grey tone that would go with the color of the cobble stones in the photo?

it is a bit bright, if you could make it more mellow…or like a beige color, it wouldn’t be so bright, no?

i’m definitely all for it.
and instead of changing the black, you could change the font to a gray just a little bit under white so it isnt hard on the eyes.
