oh, mc lars concert, how can i describe thee?

obviously, a list. a long list. and a mandatory teaser photo.

me and mc lars. first he told me he likes my “style” then said he remembered me from last time, and then he made a crazy face for my photo. i love him. seriously.

(1) the opening bands were AWFUL. not good at all. not even a little bit. the fourth was so… i can’t even find words to describe it. but i did take a minute and a half video:

(2) I’M IN LOVE WITH MC LARS. he played with a live band this time, much like the first concert i saw of his. plus he played most of my favoritest songs (excluding rapgirl, which made me sad). but, he played IF I HAD A TIME MACHINE, THAT WOULD BE FRESH! that completely made my night. he also played some other favorites of mine (ahab, mr. raven, stat-60, igeneration, signing emo, et cetera), and some songs i don’t really like (okay, it’s just the one—generic crunk rap).

(3) while we (me, liz, curls) were listening to the terrible openers, curls tried to do my rubik’s cube (which is always in my bag). i have to give her credit, she tried really hard. so when were waiting in the crowd for mc lars to come on, curls gave up and handed it to me. since it was dark, liz held her cellphone next to it, so i could sort of see the different colors. and then i solved it, with a crowd of people standing around me in amazement. man, i wish i could do it faster, a minute and a half drags by really slowly.

(4) while they were moshing in the center, we got pushed from our primo spot in the front middle to the side (which i didn’t mind, i’d choose being on the side over being punched in the face). and then that coke addict that’s always there pushed me so he could get through to the men’s room, which made me a little pissed, but i dealt. but that’s not the end of our story, not at all. when he came back, he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me, trying to pull me into the mosh pit… so i elbowed him in the groin.

(5) i bought a new t-shirt afterwards, and he signed it (now i have two signed t-shirts, yay!). he also signed my neon pink purse, it says “lanni’s bag. -mc lars.” i love him. i told him i wore my boba fett t-shirt just for him, and he said that was fresh.
