geocachingrecently my math teacher told our class about something i have become really interested in, but haven’t been able to try yet — geocaching. basically, it’s hide and seek for adults. and there’s “treasure.” you go on the geocaching website and find a cache (basically a container with a log and some stuff in it) you want to look for. they give you GPS coordinates and you put them in a GPS. then you find the cache! usually they’re in parks and stuff, so you get to hike around and find it. this is why i like the idea — i love hiking, but i just can’t stand hiking for no purpose. there’s a cache right by my house (there are actually several), and i want to try to find it this weekend. the problem is, i don’t have a GPS. and i’m not sure i want to shell out more than a hundred bucks for one. anyone know if i can like rent one? or will the one my dad has for his car work? dad: you want to do this with me? i think it would be fun, and you can take photos and stuff too! |

I think Dad has what you need. I believe you can put GPS coord in his Tomtom.
Found it
To Navigate to a GPS position (latitude / longitude) simply use Navigate to… > Latitude Longitude.
awesome. i shall borrow it this weekend, if someone can bring me home.
I’m always up for an adventure. Pick you up Saturday morning?
