OH NO

I HAVE LESS THAN 1 GB OF FREE SPACE ON MY HARD DRIVE.

what do i do?

ETA: it might have something to do with the fact that i have 135 GB of itunes stuff, and a 185 GB hard drive.

i like this hard drive. oh, and this one too.

Hint: It’s a laptop, not a home media server.

agreed. lol.

i have a 150gb hard drive, and 32gb of it is used lol.

mind you, i have no movies or shows on it, just music and pictures and stuff.

i like this one

nice and shiny like your macbook.

and that icon is cool, even though it is a sad mac.

from what i’ve heard, western digital hard drives are fine, but they run kind of slow. i want to get a trusty brand, which is why the iomega is my top pick. i think i’ll buy it this weekend, actually : )

my laptop has one purpose in my life: to entertain. that means internet + music + movies. what else would i do with it? homework? har har har.

I say, If you’re going to spend that amount on a new one, go for a terabyte. You’ll never fill that!

but i need a PORTABLE hard drive. something that i can take back and forth between school and home. if it took me 6 years to fill up a 185 GB hard drive, i’m fairly sure i won’t need a TB of space until long after i get my next computer : )

They are portable. You just have to look in the right places.

generally a hard drive that has a terabyte of space in it is going to be a bit bulky. take a look at the links i have in the post — that’s what i’m looking for. something that’s not bigger than my computer!

this is true.

you could just have one at home for pictures, or something. after you upload them on flickr you can put them on the external drive and take them off the computer’s hard drive. because if you wanted to look at them, you would have flickr. lol

then what’s the point of getting a hard drive at all? in theory i could burn all my music to cd’s and then just use them when i needed them, because i’m obviously not going to listen to all my songs at the same time. i want a hard drive for ease. something that i can easily carry between home and school.

my goodness! i think you should get the white one. it matches better.

and your icon i love. I have a REALLY old macbook (it’s heavy and grey), and it makes that face. i wanna fix it up though.

i bought it today, actually!

when i had an imac that ran OS 9, it made that face all the time. hahahaha.
