geocaches 4-8my dad and i found FIVE geocaches today! lots of photos and stuffz under the cut. we found this one in the arboretum over by where i lived last year, onondaga hall. this was my first experience with our new GPS, and it was awesome! it pretty much took us right to the location. cache 2: the elusive henrietta cache this is the one we couldn’t find last week. well, thanks to our new GPS, we found it in like ten minutes! that felt good. cache 3: the meridian centre cache this was a fairly easy cache to find. it was hidden in one of the parks i work in (remember, i work for brighton recreation and parks), but i had never been in the particular area before. it was full of fun stuff for kids, so if i ever have to babysit and we get super bored… lol. cache 4: the buckland park cache another park that i work in. we spent a good amount of time bushwacking, and later discovered it was completely unnecessary, haha. cache 5: the loehmann’s plaza cache this cache was hidden in the middle of a shopping plaza, so there were lots of people (”muggles”) around. it’s sort of hard to be discrete whilst holding a GPS, but we managed to find it eventually. but before we couldn’t put it back right after because a hair dresser was sitting next to us smoking, so i pocketed the cache and took it on a trip to tops for groceries and back. haha. cache 6: the cache we didn’t find we attempted to find a cache by the canal, but we suspect it has been stolen or tampered with. in the process of looking we got completely covered in those velcro burr things. so effin’ annoying. and itchy. lol. |

Yea and they “found” me shopping in Tops as they avoided the muggle….and T, how goes the bushwacking legs …….. :)
we didn’t find you, you found us!
hahahahaha. velcro burrs. those things suck.
tell me about it! they get stuck to your shirt, so you pull them off… and then they’re stuck to your hands! it’s a vicious cycle.
