mc lars at record archivebasically, i want to marry lars. stabby and i went to record archive at 4:45ish and i bought five bajillion cd’s (read: eight). lars arrived around 5:00ish, and we had lots of time to chat and such. we talked about atom and his package, because lars saw the pins i have on my bag. you see, aahp is like my second favorite band ever, so lars and i were able to go on and on about how amazing atom is. and he told me that he contributed a song to an aahp tribute album that’ll be released next month! so awesome. he also signed my ipod. he added the “j/k!” when i mentioned i don’t steal music, instead i shop at record archive. lol. oh, and he signed some monopoly money i had in my wallet. that makes like forty items i own that are now signed by lars. lolz. and he “played” a set, too! i put that in quotes, because i’m not 100% sure that’s what it was. you see, he forgot to bring his laptop (although he did bring his band). so we were treated to an a cappella version of mc lars. definitely a new experience for everyone involved… in other words, it was a very good time! after the show we talked again and he mentioned that he really liked the websites i’ve designed, and told me to keep being awesome. oh man, i love your mc lars. |

awesome! i was going to get slash to sign my ipod when i met him but he said he couldn’t lol. and i didn’t even get a picture with him :(
but lars sounds pretty cool.
haha mc lars will sign anything, i swear! he’s signed all my t-shirts, my bag, several posters, some tickets, fake money, etc. haha.
hey, please tell me that you went to the show at RIT!
i could never go to a show by myself — i’m too chicken. it would be awkward.
i used to go out to that music bar on the corner of Scio and East Ave before its name changed and have one drink just to get out and listen to stuff i liked. yeah i agree it makes you feel like a loser but sometimes that is just what being single is all about.
p.s. can’t wait til CAKE this weekend!!
going to a college concert is a lot different than going to see someone play at a bar, you know : P
i can’t wait either! yayayayayay!
Yea, one is pick up bar place of “over 21 adults” with music and the other is a non-bar environment with music at a college much like yours with mostly college students.
You only need to listen to the band not communicate with the crowd. Hang at the back like your dad does :)
yeah and you did fine when you were just in the store with MC Lars. there are still plenty of oppurtunities for being out in public with a close crowd around you and not being scared.
who said i was scared to be in a crowd by myself? that is just ridiculous. i just do not like dealing with drunk/high concert goers. i mean, i got harassed by that coke addict that one time at waterstreet, and that place has excellent security. college concerts have less guards for more people.
