my teacher is awesome. when he gave us back our lesson plans and evaluations, he clipped everyone’s papers with silver paper clips, except for mine, in which he used a pink paper clip.
bad:
i found out today that for my school observations i can’t have my pink hair showing. stupid squares and their stupid rules. well, i have a blonde wig that i’ll be wearing. i’ll pretend i’m undercover or something.

i know how much you hate my hair, but it’s not time yet. it’s silly to unpink my hair for something like this. i will need regular hair for 15 hours all semester (3 hours for five visits), and that’s it. not even one whole day out of a very long semester.

I’ve never understood the school administrations getting worked up over superficial stuff like wildly-colored hair or unusual clothing styles.
I’d be much happier if school was more concerned about the brain inside the skull that the pink-colored hair was sitting on, than the the color of the hair.
It’s too long, it’s too short, black girls are wrong to straighten their hair, but they’re also wrong to wear cornrows. Oh, and don’t you dare color it, unless of course you’re middle-aged (man or woman), which means you have the inherent right to dye it, and nobody will say a word (to your face).

I cleared out a halloween totes from attic. Insidone what do I find this Currly Pink wig. Since you are scheduled for a dye bath next week maybe you could just half way to blonde and wear the wig! :)

hey in totally unrelated style, Lanni, Have you been watching the show the Mentalist on CBS. I just watched the first two episodes off my dvr and it is totally amazing. I am in love with Simon Baker all over again. You can download them off Scrapetorrent if you need to b/c CBS does not seem to have them on their website. Totally worth it too!!
