i have finished the website for my art history group project! well, it’s mostly done. one member of our group hasn’t finished her portion, so you may notice that the “renoir” page is blank. this is due tuesday, so hopefully she’ll have it finished tomorrow… all the information is up and functional!

please please please let me know if it looks okay in your browser! also, if you see any errors (coding, formating, or spelling), please let me know asap! thanks so much : )

I spend much of my time in NYC looking for french impressionist paintings. They have many at the Met, but the best exibition I’ve seen was a couple of years ago at the Widenstein gallery on 64th stree and I think at Park or Madison. They had several Monet paintings that are usually kept in private hands or were from Europe. It was just great. They also produced a good book on the collection. They had pics and the book on their web site until recently, but after checking, they’ve gone on to other collections. Interesting thing is that Claude Monet was going blind from cataracs for probably the last 30 or 40 years of his life. So really anything after 1880’s, you have to think that what he painted was partially obscured by cataracs.

Spacing looks funny

About Impressionism: A page describing the movement, why we chose to exhibit it, and the key artists involved.

i’m working on that. something to do with the ‘justify’ alignment i gave it. hmm.

fixed! changed it to ‘left’ alignment, and it looks fine now.

Whoa! I really like that template! looks fine in FF on Mac (but you know that)

If I still had a website I would want my template to look similar to that, lol. That’s just how awesome it is.

Well, I’m going to check out the website, now.
