your questions, answered

“when did you first start dying your hair?
in the middle of the seventh grade, if i remember correctly. i dyed it green with manic panic. over the years it’s been pink, red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, and purple (check out this post for reference). since then i’ve moved onto stronger dye, and for about 4 years now i have kept it pink (atomic pink to be exact!). it rocks.

why do you write with no caps?
i stopped using caps in august of 2005. i decided that caps made me think too much of school. i’ll save caps for homework assignments, and important emails, and fancy greeting cards. capital letters can bite me.

do you have a secret talent?
nothing too secret. i can do a rubik’s cube in less than a minute, i can name all the US presidents in order, and… well, those are really the only talents i have that most people do not.

when did you begin designing websites?
let me think, i believe it was back in october or november of 2003, the beginning of my freshmen year of high school when i was a few months into blogging. i was so annoyed by the ugliness of my blog that i spent days looking for templates and couldn’t find the perfect one. so i took one that i moderately liked, and read up on some html so i could tweak it. after a lot of reading up, i developed some web design skillz. now i know enough to keep up this website, and help other people with their’s. which means this is a nice time to pimp the designs section. hire me, and feel the satisfaction of supplying a young girl with money to eventually buy a car with. or at least a funny t-shirt.

any secrets you want to tell?
usually when people ask me this question i have them lean in real close and then i whisper in their ear, “i have pink hair.”
