last night was the schlitzer party at my aunt jean’s house, which was fun. stevie’s in town, so that was excellent.

today was the schlitzer party at my grandparent’s house, which was also fun. steve, liz, aunt marta, and i played excellent games such as taboo, a super fun game i just discovered, and rummikrub, a super fun game i’ve been playing for years.

and i saw juno with mike too, after the party. OMG it was amazing. the moldy peaches did a majority of the soundtrack! i was listening and i was like, whoa, this sounds just like them. and then they played “anybody else but you,” which is my favorite song by them, and i was like, whoa, this IS them. awesome. oh, and the movie itself was excellent too. megafunny. supercool. et cetera.

today was the party at stevie’s house, and i got to play games on the wii for the first time. man that thing is amazing. even my dad had fun playing it. i liked tennis the best myself, but i was really really bad at bowling. but i think i was better at wii bowling than regular bowling, believe it or not. stevie also played rummikrub and scrabble with marta (i dominated in both).

it’s quite warm and green outside, so it doesn’t really feel like christmas. thanks global warming!

we’re off to jean and ray’s for the christmas eve party, so i thought i’d post now as we won’t be back until midnight or later (ish).

i solved the rubik’s cube today. three times.

also, i made cookies today. many, many cookies.

and i decorated the christmas tree. with a ton of stuff.

i was supposed to have a crentist appointment today, but my mom got the times mixed up so i missed it (how sad). so because i didn’t have work, i spent two hours after school out buying christmas/hanukkah presents from miscellaneous stores in the henrietta vicinity.

so i walk up to the cashier in borders and hand him my merchandise, a jumble book for dinah and a “high school musical” calendar for chelsea (it’s all she talks about, music-wise). the cashier (who, might i mention, was totally cute) picks up the calendar, looks at me, and quietly says to me, “oh god, please tell me this isn’t for you.” dead serious.

and i don’t even want to talk about stabby’s gift. i stood in line for a half an hour, surrounded by boys with handfuls of tiny underwearz, in a store that i have never stepped foot in, and i will never step foot in again.

i have thought of another thing i want for christmas, but i think i’m going to end up buying it myself because it’s pretty expensive. i need an SD memory card for my camera, and i think i’m going to get a 2gb one, because i have a 7mp camera and a 2gig would fit about 600 photos. but it costs like $30 on sale. hmm, that’s a conundrum.

what do i want for chrismas? the three m’s: money, music, and movies.
