when i woke up, my fishes were DEAD.

the most ironic part of this is that when we were talking about fish yesterday (before the part when i guessed), i mentioned that every living thing i have ever been solely responsible for has died. i had a cactus a few years ago, a plant that requires little to no upkeep, and i killed it within a month.

but i’m going to have to say this wasn’t really my fault. i think it has something to do with the 80 degree weather or something [out of my control] like that.

today when i was sitting in my room with megan and sruthi, we somehow got on the topic of fish, and for some reason i said something along the lines of, “sruthi, you probably have a fish in your closet.” when megan and sruthi looked at each other, i instantly knew that was the thing that she had been hiding in her room all day (i wasn’t allowed in, and she wouldn’t tell me why). they kept trying to deny it, but i finally got it out of them. then they said, “happy birthday” and brought in a goldfish bowl with two fish in it!

i named the fat one “chubbs” and the small one “jaws!”
