ambigrami’m currently rereading angels & demons for the millionth time, and i’ve become really interested in the ambigrams that are featured in it. an ambigram is a word that can be read the same more than one way. the ones in the book are called rotational ambigrams, and they are words that can be read the same way when flipped over. they’re quite brilliant. crafting one is ridiculously hard (for me at least), but lauren and i have been working on some ever since i showed her one i did in my calc notebook. neither of us have been able to get “lanni” to work, but i was successful with just “lan”.
