i recently made a post in a livejournal community called craftgrrl with a bunch of photos of crafty stuff i’ve done. it’s here, comment if you want : )

i’m really itching to redesign the site. before i start, i wanted to ask and see if anyone had any ideas of new features i should add, or thing i should get rid of. any feedback is really fantastic.

i took a photo of all the sunglasses i currently have in my collection, complete with specs and estimated values. so take a look at that (click on the thumbnail).

i’m looking forward to work tomorrow. work gives me something to do and i always know what has to be done. i like that we have a schedule and that we mostly stick to it.

i just purchased these sunglasses on ebay. to replace the ones that were smashed when i fell. i’m still very sad about that.

mmm, driver’s ed was today. we did city driving for the first time. it wasn’t really that exciting, because brighton is right next to the city and i spend half my life in it, so you know.

i got a passing score on that form b (97), so hurray! now if i could only just pass the first one…

quien te mete, juan copete (which means “what’s it to you,” but i don’t really care what the meaning is, it just sounds cool).

i need to purchase some cases for my collection of oversized and odd colored sunglasses, because my ray bans are getting a little worn out.

kate came over today. we played settlers of catan. i won. i got a crown. later we played outside.

kate: hey lan, want to play settlers of catan in that fort in your backyard?
lanni: no! a cat died in there!
kate: oh.

later we did a science experiment. we took those capsules that have foam animals in them and put them in a bunch of different liquids. long story short, gaterade works the best, olive oil works the worst.

I found my new favorite store today over on Park Ave next to World Hair. After getting my hair cut (in which my hair tuned the unfortunate stylist’s hands purple) I found my mom in the store across the hall. I had never been in it, although I had always wanted to. We spent almost 2 hours in that little shop. It’s like the garage sale of your dreams crammed into a little room. I got those sunglasses and some other stuff (something for Dinah!). The lady that owns it (along with another lady) was really nice and since my mom goes in every time someone gets a hair cut, she’s friends with her. My mom even fixed a light for her one time so the lady let my mom choose anything out of the store and my mom couldn’t decide, so the lady brought out this awesome Chinese hat. You know, those huge pointy ones?! My mom loves it and plans on wearing it all summer. That lady is awesome. She said she would sell duct tape wallets if I made them for her. I can’t wait to go back, I could spend all day in there. I should take Kate some time, she loves stores like that. I googled it and came up with this City Newspaper link describing the store.
